Private Lessons
 

Private photography lessons are designed to fit your schedule and your special photographic interests. Together, we'll design a course that allows you to take the pictures you want, under any conditions. The course may include:
 

~ The meaning of the numbers on your camera
~ The relationships between the numbers
~ The importance of F-stop, shutter speed, ISO (film speed), focal length
~ Tips to better composition
~ Contrast, lighting and special effects
~ Depth of field and other factors

In addition, as time and your own interests dictate, we might address:

 

~ Shooting water and ice
~ When to use fill flash and when to avoid it
~ Special problems caused by high contrast situations like reflections, snow, open water, sunrises and sunsets
~ Designing your own "film" when shooting digital photography


You must have a full capability 35 mm camera with removable lenses. To arrange for private lessons,
